It spawned several fan-favorite tracks including “Mamacita,” “Skyfall” and “Drugs You Should Try It.”

This is the rare bit of positive news from Travis Scott after a tumultuous summer that has seen him get into trouble with the law both at home in the U.S. and overseas in Paris.

The 33-year-old was arrested in Miami in June for disorderly intoxication and trespassing, with bodycam footage showing him arguing with police officers after they found him attempting to retrieve belongings from a yacht in the early hours of the morning.

He was then arrested in Paris earlier this month after he got into a fight with his bodyguard in the lobby of a luxury hotel.

In the fray, one of the hotel’s security guards was allegedly attacked while trying to break up the fight.

French prosecutors said in a statement: “I can confirm that on August 9, 2024, police officers were called to the George V hotel and arrested the rapper nicknamed Travis Scott for assaulting a security guard.

“The security guard had intervened to separate the rapper from his bodyguard. The Paris public prosecutor’s office has referred the case to the 1st district of the judicial police.”

It was later confirmed that Scott would not face charges over the incident and was free to leave the country.
