Travis Scott has found himself in quite a predicament after footage of him yelling at a nightclub employee surfaced online amid allegations of assault.
On Wednesday (March 1), a 52-year-old sound engineer accused La Flame of assaulting him at Club Nebula, where the rapper was doing a surprise DJ set at an after-party hosted by Don Toliver.

Footage has surfaced of the moments before the alleged attack, showing Travis Scott yelling at the sound engineer who appeared to be trying to adjust the sound system.
Scott can be heard telling the man: “Back the fuck up!” while pushing him out of the way. According to Page Six, Travis had the volume too loud, causing a distorted sound, and the sound engineer attempted to fix the issue before La Flame yelled at him.
An eyewitness said Travis Scott then went to the engineer and began “yelling aggressively in his face on why he lowered the sound. Then he smack[ed] the soundman right across the face.”
Following the incident, the alleged victim was taken to the hospital and recalled the events in an interview with FOX 5 NY. According to the sound man, he had tried to work with Travis, but the rapper proved to be a difficult character.

“I was trying to tell him to lower [the volume] so it sounded good for the performance, but he just stuck his middle finger in my face,” he said from a hospital bed. “So I lowered the monitor a little bit so I could talk to him, and that’s when he ran around the speaker and attacked me.”
Detailing his injuries from the alleged attack, the man said: “Obviously, my neck is fucked up. My arm is tingling; I have pins and needles going down it.”
Assaulting the engineer wasn’t the only damage Travis Scott allegedly caused that night. Other eyewitnesses stated La Flame went on a 10-minute rampage where he destroyed various equipment worth $12,000 and allegedly threw a clubgoer’s phone on the ground.
A complaint was made and police were called to the venue, but Travis has yet to be arrested or charged. In a statement, Scott’s lawyer, Mitchell Schuster, downplayed the incident, calling it a “misunderstanding” that has been “blown out of proportion.”

“While this is clearly a misunderstanding being blown out of proportion by clickbait and misinformation, we are actively working with the venue and law enforcement to resolve and set the record straight,” Schuster said. “We are confident our client will be cleared of any wrongdoing.”
Club Nebula’s managing partner, Richie Romero, echoed a similar sentiment, telling ABC News: “This is blown completely out of proportion. It was a great night.”
Talent booker Dorian Harrington added: “This is a total misunderstanding. And what I saw on stage doesn’t reflect what I read in the news. The music and the night turned out great and everyone left peacefully.”
In other news, Travis Scott has been dropping breadcrumbs of hints leading toward the arrival of his long-awaited Utopia album of late.

“We have a new Travis Scott record, expected to come in June,” Epic Records CEO Sylvia Rhone revealed to Billboard last month.
Fans were excited at the release date for Trav’s fourth album coming from the high-profile executive, but are still taking it with a grain of salt considering Scott’s unpredictability.
