Tony Yayo is the last G-Unit member to still be on good terms with 50 Cent and that brotherhood remains a lucrative one.
In a new interview with VladTV, Yayo went into financial detail about 50’s massive Final Lap Tour, which hit over 70 cities in more than 20 countries between July and December last year.

While he didn’t divulge specific figures, the “So Seductive” rapper revealed that he made “six figures” as a support act on the international trek while saying 50 Cent himself made millions from tour merch alone.
“His merch is in the millions. He’s an icon,” he said. “You can ask anyone — the people that ran the tour from Live Nation — they’ll tell you, ‘Your favorite rapper can’t do what 50 just did.'”

When asked why he didn’t sell any of his own merch on the tour, Yayo said: “I don’t ask for too much. I’m making six figures, so why would I bother you for more? It’s cool. I’m not worried about that. Trust me, I’m making a great check […] The money is great, the money is excellent.”
As for 50’s tour earnings, Vlad estimated that he “probably made over $100 million gross in just ticket sales,” although Yayo declined to confirm those figures.
Elsewhere in the interview, Tony Yayo described touring with 50 Cent as a “movie” and shut down the notion that the G-Unit mogul is a “bad guy.”
“You gotta understand, lot of artists don’t get treated [well],” he said. “People think that Fif is a bad guy, but when you’re staying in the Four Seasons, you got the Eiffel Tower there, you staying at the W in Bahrain sipping Ranis on the water.
“There’s an F1 race track around the hotel. You just missed Giorgio Armani at breakfast. It’s a fucking movie! Working with 50 is a fucking movie, bro!”
Yayo also praised his label boss’ tireless work ethic: “I’m tired, we just did six shows back to back. 50’s running on the stages, lifting cranes, switching seven outfits, he goes to the gym twice a day. 50’s not fucking around.

“He don’t smoke no weed, he really don’t drink like that. He’s reading scripts, he’s securing movie deals, he got the Louisiana Tyler Perry big-ass type of studios out there. So when you see somebody working like that, it motivates you.”
