T.I. and Boosie Badazz have been teasing a joint album for some time now, but it looks like it may not see the light of day after all.
Tip was a guest on the We In Miami podcast’s latest episode, published on Tuesday (October 17). When asked about the status of the joint LP – that had previously been scrapped, then back on again amid a beef between the pair – the Atlanta native said he thinks that ship may have sailed.

“I feel like the time that we had allotted for it, we kind of passed by it,” he began. “You know what I mean? It was like, ready. We got the records. But it’s so much that goes into releasing a record besides just releasing the record and I feel like we kinda missed the window.”
He continued: “Not saying that that window can’t present itself again. We have a very healthy relationship.”

Tip also noted that his next album will be his last before moving on to other endeavors outside of music, which certainly could contribute to his feelings about not releasing the joint effort.

Boosie and T.I. have been beefing, off and on, since 2020. Though they briefly squashed their differences, the feud between the pair re-ignited in March when T.I. admitted in an interview that he snitched on his cousin to avoid catching charges.
That prompted the Baton Rouge rapper to call the Atlanta rapper a “rat” and to announce that the joint album that had been working on had been canceled.

Then, in April, Boosie revealed that he and T.I. had buried the hatchet over their brief feud. He told VladTV that the two handled the spat like “bosses” after a phone conversation.
“It just went like two bosses of handling it, man,” he began. “First of all, we got kids who love each other. First we wasn’t agreeing and we was going back-and-forth and you know he spoke how he felt and I spoke how I felt. He felt me and I felt him. I gave him an apology.”
He continued: “After we kept going back-and-forth, the things he was doing for me in my life at the time, I kinda felt bad. I kinda felt bad he was doing some real shit helping me in a lot of ways but I told him I still stand on what I stand on. When he explained it to me, we got by it.
“We got by like bosses supposed to get by. We ain’t let the internet or none of that bring us out of character.”

Just last month, Boosie Badazz said in another VladTV interview that the album will be dropping as soon as they can both get back in the studio to record it.
“Yeah, I think we’re gonna get it together,” he said. “We ain’t got back in the studio yet. But I think we’re gonna get it together. We’ve been working on other shit right now.”
He then revealed that he’d be performing for T.I.’s son, King, in the near future, and could barely contain his laughter when Vlad revealed that the “Rubber Band Man” rapper had been calling his son “Teeth Keith” and “Teeth Sweat” on account of his new veneers.
