T.I. has shared some harsh truths with an aspiring rapper after she ran up on him and tried to audition for a record deal.
The hopeful MC, who goes by the name Trapicana, shared a video on Instagram on Tuesday (April 30) showing her spitting a freestyle for the Atlanta rap legend in a parking lot.

After performing her raps, she asked the Hustle Gang honcho: “How you feel about that?”
An annoyed looking Tip replied in brutally honest fashion: “I don’t.”

After Trapicana told him she’s “trying to be a part of Hustle Gang,” T.I. brushed her off with some advice: “Let me tell you something: stop running up to n-ggas thinking they gonna change your life, man. Ain’t nobody gonna change your life but you.”
Undeterred, she then asked: “So you ain’t gonna change my life, big bro?” to which Tip emphatically replied: “Hell naw! You are.”

After Trapicana continued to plead with him for a deal, the “What You Know” hitmaker said: “I’m helping you by telling you, don’t look for a n-gga like me to change your life when you have everything you need already.”
He added: “If you do what you need to do, I’ll come find you. You don’t got to come find me.”
T.I. isn’t the only Southern rap legend to curve an aspiring rapper.
Last year, Gucci Mane, who typically keeps his ear to the streets looking for new talent, wasn’t trying to hear one rhymer’s audition for his 1017 squad.

Guwop was hosting an album signing event in Atlanta promoting his Breath of Fresh Air project when an unknown artist tried to get his attention by spitting a freestyle — but was quickly shot down.
“Aye, we ain’t doing that. Not right now, not right now,” Gucci snapped, before the volume for his album was then back up and began booming through the store’s speakers.
Occasionally, this method does pay off, though. When Big Sean tracked down Kanye West at a radio station in Detroit 2005, he seized the opportunity to showcase his skills.
“He told me I had 16 bars,” Sean told Billboard in 2017 while reflecting on the fateful day. “I ended up rapping for 10 minutes and it changed my life.”
