The Game is set to become a father all over again, but he doesn’t appear to be daunted by the prospect of changing diapers in his 40s.

The 44-year-old rapper, who already has three children, revealed the news during an appearance on the Tacos & Shawarma podcast.

After host Elle quizzed him about rumors that he is expecting twins, the Compton rapper clarified that he’s expecting just the one child.

“Twins is… yeah, you gotta stay off the internet,” he said. “I’m expecting one child.”

The Game then spoke about being an older dad, naming fellow rapper JAY-Z — whose eldest child Blue Ivy was born when he was 42 and who welcomed twins Rumi and Sir five years later — as an inspiration.

“I’m 44, so when my new child is 21, I’ll be 65. And that seems kinda old until you start thinking about who’s 65 now,” he said. “I don’t know how old Mariah Carey is, but she has to be, like, 10 years older than me. Or JAY-Z or somebody like that.”

He added: “Their next big birthday is probably 60. They’re still out here looking young and looking cool, so it ain’t that bad. But at the end of the day, it’s new life.”

Age isn’t the only reason why this parenting experience will be different for The Game, though.

“When I was younger, I was still a hardhead in the streets. I don’t know how I even made it to this point in my life doing the things that I was doing,” he admitted. “But I made it, my kids are all fine, smart, straight A students, so it’ll just be interesting to parent at this age.”

He didn’t, however, say who the unborn child’s mother is.

The Game welcomed his eldest child Harlem Caron Taylor in 2003 — prior to the release of his debut album The Documentary — while his other son King Justice and daughter Cali Dream were born in 2007 and 2010, respectively.

The “Like Father, Like Son” rapper has long been vocal about his love for his kids, posting a touching message to Harlem on his 19th birthday in 2022.

“Happy Birthday son (@harlemtaylorr) you were & always will be the motivation I needed to alter my lifestyle & become something better than I ever was before your birth. Thank you,” he wrote on Instagram.

Revealing the inspiration behind his son’s name, he added: “I named you Harlem cause that’s the 1st place [Jim Jones] took me my 1st time in New York when I landed at JFK. You are the best son, person, older brother that I [Cali] & [King] could ever ask for.”

A fourth child isn’t the only thing The Game has to look forward to. In the same interview, he also revealed that he’s working on The Documentary 3 and plans to release it in January to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the original album.

“I’m definitely gonna start the new album and I ain’t told anybody that,” he said. “But yeah, The Documentary 3, I’m gonna go in hard and I’ma drop it the same day that the other one dropped. I’m up for the challenge. It’s gonna be tough.”
