Tems has offered ATL Jacob $1 million to stop “telling lies” about her having to be convinced to clear a sample for Future and Drake’s “WAIT FOR U.”
Jacob, who produced the hit song, had previously claimed that the Nigerian singer was reluctant to clear the song, which sampled her track “Higher.”

The claim was previously denied by Tems’ manager, but now the singer herself has stepped into the row.
Replying to Jacob’s comments on X on Thursday (January 18), Tems said sarcastically: “I LOVE THIS STORY. Look at the phrasing. Magnificent.”

The producer then denied speaking poorly about Tems, saying: “All this negativity coming to me … I got a $100,000 Wire transfer for Tems and her team to find me 1 time I Spoke Negatively about her.”
She then responded: “Its not about saying anything negative STOP TELLING LIES. I’ll give you 1 million.”

Jacob appeared to climb down, replying: “I love you Tems.”
He then added: “No beef.. all love on my end, I would never beef with a Woman I love all the Queens out here.”
The dispute initially ignited after ATL Jacob alleged they had difficulty clearing the sample for “WAIT FOR U.”
The Atlanta producer said to The Baller Alert Show: “Tems wouldn’t clear the song. So Future pulled in — his relationship with Drake [and] was like, ‘Can you get the song cleared?’ So Drake had to call Tems and be like, ‘Hey man.’”
He also claimed that she was “irritated” by the song when the two spoke at last year’s Grammys ceremony.
Tems’ manager, Muyiwa Awoniyi, later claimed his story was not true, saying on X: “Every single word uttered here is untrue. You even made up scenarios that never happened. It is shocking how someone can be so bold yet so wrong. Highly disappointing , do better @atljacobbeatz.
“Please, if @atljacob is your friend. Kindly advise him to stop going on interviews and LYING up and down on a topic he is clearly clueless about.

Awoniyi added: “Dude. You have no side to a story because ALL you said was a lie. This is about a specific video circulating on the internet. We cleared the record immediately. Got no call from drake and lastly had no such convo at the Grammys. Tems won’t reply you. But I have your time.”
Neither Drake nor Future have yet commented on the dispute.
