TDE’s MackWop has addressed the controversial cancelation of ScHoolboy Q and SiR shows at a Drake-affiliated venue in Toronto.
MackWop, who has worked as a DJ for various Top Dawg Entertainment artists including ScHoolboy Q and Kendrick Lamar, opened up about the incidents on his YouTube show The Apollo.

He said: “That n-gga SiR got his show canceled in Toronto, no cap. SiR got his show canceled at the same fucking venue that we was gonna perform at. Word around town is Drake is in cahoots with this venue. He designed the whole venue, he probably got a little equity in the venue. I’m not sure.”
“But any n-gga that was on that Pop Out stage, they’re getting canceled,” he added, referring to Kendrick’s historic show at the Forum in Inglewood last month. “What I’m suggesting is: nobody perform at the History ’cause they will cancel your show if Drake don’t like you. I think that’s janky.”
MackWop also claimed that fellow West Coast star and Kendrick Lamar collaborator Blxst could suffer the same fate: “Not only did they cancel SiR’s show, they canceled that n-gga Blxst’s show. Allegedly. I’m just hearing the whispers in the grapevine. Q’s show was sold out. SiR’s show was sold out.”
Blxst is scheduled to perform at Toronto’s Queen Elizabeth Theatre History on October 28 as part of his I’ll Always Come Find You Tour. Tickets for the show go on sale on Friday (August 2).

MackWop then addressed DJ Scheme playing Kendrick’s Drake diss track “Not Like Us” at the same venue: “If they knew them n-ggas weren’t fucking with Drake, they would have canceled that show.”
ScHoolboy Q was left fuming after his Toronto show was abruptly axed earlier this month, and suggested that Drake’s issues with his former TDE labelmate Kendrick had something to do with it.

At the time, he wrote on X: “THey just cancelled my sHow in TORONTO… CANADIAN POLICE DONT WANT NOBODY FROM TDE PERFORMING.”
He also appeared to threaten violence while referencing the bitter rivalry between K. Dot and Drizzy’s respective camps: “[I]f we wanted to get yall we would’ve just did it.. now wHen sumbody get Hurt don’t cry.”
In response, Drake seemingly trolled Q by posting a selfie of him wearing blue slides, an apparent reference to the West Coast rapper’s song of the same name.
SiR’s show became the next victim in the beef, with the R&B singer announcing the cancelation on social media earlier this week: “So sorry to my Toronto fans. The show has been cancelled. We’re working on rescheduling for a later date.”

He added: “For those wondering, we sold that show out. It was cancelled by the venue. Not sure why. My apologies again to those that came just to see me.”
Q later reacted to the news, joking: “HAHAHAHAHAHHAAHHAHAA TAKE YO ASS HOME BOY.. SING ON THE BUS ITS OVA WIT.”
SiR replied: “[crying face emoji] They DON’T like us.”
