TakeOff’s murder stemmed from an argument over loaded dice, according to comedian Shawty Shawty.

The Wild ‘N’ Out star appeared as a guest on the Ugly Money Podcast, where he shed more light on the November 1 shooting that tragically claimed the Migos rapper’s life.

Police previously announced that the deadly shootout occurred after a “lucrative” dice game — to which TakeOff was an innocent bystander — outside 810 Billiards & Bowling in Houston turned violent.

But Shawty claimed he spoke to one of TakeOff and Quavo’s cousins and was told the bickering began after Quavo believed the men he was gambling with had rigged the dice.

“I have to say ‘alleged’ because I was told this over the phone from a reliable source…They say Quavo dominates in a whole lot of different things — basketball, all of this. So they say that they had been shooting basketball earlier and then they got to the bowling alley, and they said it was a dice game,” he said.

“They say that Quavo noticed that the dice were not right, and that’s where the argument started. Everybody know Quavo got a mouth on him, everybody know Quavo would talk junk. I don’t think that was the atmosphere to talk shit in. I think they were on somebody’s tab, and you gotta respect [that].”

According to an affidavit that surfaced last December, the shooting was sparked by Quavo throwing a punch after losing money to two men in the dice game. A man identified as Willie Bland then got into a physical confrontation in Quavo’s defense, it claimed, and ended up striking one of the opposing individuals.

Two people then exchanged gunfire, with stray bullets fatally wounding TakeOff in the head and torso, his autopsy report revealed. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

A 33-year-old man named Patrick Clark has been charged with TakeOff’s murder. Clark, known locally in Houston as DJ Pat, was linked to the crime by surveillance footage showing him firing a gun, as well as wine bottle left at the scene containing his fingerprints.

Police also had to recreate the crime scene to confirm any ballistic evidence. “Through that we were able to deduce that Patrick Clark is the lethal shooter in the case, that’s why he’s charged with murder,” Homicide Division Sgt. Michael Burrow said.

Clark has maintained his innocence and was released on a $1 million bond earlier in January. His lawyer successfully negotiated to have his bail reduced from its initial $2 million sum, but had his motion to further slash it to $300,000 rejected.

Quavo, who released the joint album Only Built With Infinity Links with TakeOff just weeks before his murder, vowed to “keep [his] name alive” in a heartfelt Instagram post following his death.

He recently dedicated the song “Without You” to his late nephew and Migos groupmate, on which he mournfully sang: “Tears rolling down my eyes / Can’t tell you how many times I cried / Days ain’t the same without you / I don’t know if I’m the same without you.”
