Takeoff’s funeral service will be held on Friday (November 11) at the 20,000-seat capacity State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia.
According to Atlanta radio station V-103, Reverend Jesse Curney III of New Mercies Christian Church will be handling Takeoff’s service, and it will begin promptly at 12:00 pm ET.

Free tickets to the funeral are available exclusively to Georgia residents starting Tuesday (November 8) via Ticketmaster.
Curney spoke about the late Migos rapper and his family being devoted members of his congregation while admitting his death was a blow to the community.
“I was really sad to hear the news,” Reverend Curney said in a statement. “Kirsnick has been a faithful member since he was ten years old. He and his family were active and avid supporters of the church and the community as a whole.”
Takeoff’s homegoing service comes after his family and friends held a balloon sendoff over the weekend in Atlanta to memorialize him. Graffiti artist Armondo “Ape” Monoletti also crafted a mural in Takeoff’s honor in ATL.
Takeoff was shot and killed at a Houston, Texas, bowling alley on November 1. Authorities in Houston were notified of a shooting “shortly after 2:30 a.m.” at a local bowling alley where a dice game had taken place. A conflict reportedly arose, followed by shots fired, though more details weren’t available.

The Harris County Medical Examiner confirmed in Takeoff’s autopsy report that the Migos member died of “penetrating gunshot wounds of head and torso into arm.” No arrests have been made.
Members of the Hip Hop community have paid tribute to Takeoff, such as Drake, Jim Jones, Kanye West, Coach K, 50 Cent and more. Since his passing, Takeoff’s Instagram follower count has skyrocketed.
A screenshot captured around the time of the Migos rapper’s death showed Takeoff with 7.7 million followers, and in the time that’s passed, he’s added about a million followers, with his account now boasting 8.6 million followers as of press time.
The Atlanta Falcons also paid tribute to Takeoff before their game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday (November 6). The organization shared photos of the rapper on their jumbotron at Mercedes Benz Stadium while playing the Migos track, “T-Shirt” off their classic Culture album.

Takeoff had just joined Quavo for their first joint album together, Only Built for Infinity Links, while Migos wrapped its critically lauded Culture trilogy with Culture III last June. Takeoff also released his first solo album, The Last Rocket, in 2018.
