Suge Knight has demanded answers from Snoop Dogg over 2Pac’s murder, saying his former artist has some “explaining” to do.
In an explosive segment on his podcast Collect Call, the currently incarcerated founder of Death Row Records — who was in the car with ‘Pac the night he was shot in Las Vegas — questioned Snoop’s role in the death of the rap legend.

When asked about Diddy’s alleged involvement in ‘Pac’s murder, Knight turned his attention to Snoop and said he wants a face-to-face talk with his ex-signee, who now owns Death Row.
“As far as the Puffy situation, I really, really, really gotta have a real conversation with Snoop,” he said. “I knew that ‘Pac did everything right by him by putting him on All Eyez On Me, speaking about him and being real with him.

“And if it’s true what they say, face-to-face it’s gonna be a lot of explaining to do.”
Knight made a number of other claims, including that Snoop Dogg told Tha Dogg Pound rapper Daz Dillinger not to go to Vegas with the rest of the Death Row crew the night of September 7, 1996 as “something’s gonna happen.”
Suge also addressed remarks made by Warren G on Drink Champs where he recalled him and Snoop learning about 2Pac’s shooting through a Nextel “radio” while in Los Angeles.
“The only way you would have a radio is if you was at the fight with us and he had a security detail,” Knight said. “By him not having a security detail, what are you doing with a radio? […] Why would you have a play-by-play on the radio?”

There are further claims from Knight, including him saying that Snoop Dogg and Daz Dillinger did a song with one of ‘Pac’s alleged killers, DeAndre Smith.
Knight also said that Snoop never visited 2Pac in hospital after his shooting, although the Doggfather has said multiple times that he saw ‘Pac before he died.
Recounting the incident on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast last year, Snoop said: “He got tubes in him and when I walked in, I could just feel that he wasn’t even there — and I fainted. Then his mother got me up and walked me to the bathroom, and had a conversation with me about being strong.”

It has been rumored that Snoop Dogg and 2Pac fell out shortly before the latter’s death after the “Gin & Juice” rapper praised The Notorious B.I.G. in a radio interview, which can potentially explain why Knight believes he had something to do with the shooting.
Duane “Keefe D” Davis was charged with the murder of 2Pac earlier this year and will face trial on June 3, 2024.
