Former SOB X RBE rapper Lul G has been sentenced to a total of 21 years in prison for charges relating to the fatal 2019 shooting of Rashied Flowers.
Court documents obtained by HipHopDX reveal that Lul G (real name George Harris) ultimately pleaded nolo contendere (“I do not contest,” or “a plea by which a defendant in a criminal prosecution accepts conviction as though a guilty plea had been entered but does not admit guilt,” per the Oxford Dictionary) to two of the myriad of charges: voluntary manslaughter, for which he received a maximum sentence of 11 years, and the enhancement of the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, for which he received a maximum sentence of 10 years.

In total, Lul G received a maximum sentence of 21 years for the shooting. The sentencing was imposed on Monday (May 22) by the Hon. Carlos R. Gutierrez of Solano County, CA.
However, Lul G’s attorney only confirmed the sentencing to the East Bay Times on Thursday (May 25).
The Vallejo rapper appeared in Solano County Superior Court in March to enter the nolo plea for fatally shooting a 26-year-old man over three years ago in a Fairfield home; he was immediately found guilty by Judge Carlos R. Gutierrez.
Lul G entered his plea saying he would offer no defense after facing a first-degree murder charge on the verge of a jury trial. A previously convicted felon, he also admitted to the personal use of a firearm during the shooting.

The 24-year-old rapper avoided the possibility of being found guilty of the murder charge and receiving 25 years to life in prison with his plea, along with even more time for the firearm charge and previous felony conviction.
Lul G was accused of fatally shooting Rashied Flowers on July 24, 2019 and was arrested on September 21 that year in Clark County, Nevada. He previously pleaded not guilty at his jail arraignment two days after his arrest.
Lul G was a member of California group SOB X RBE alongside Yhung T.O., DaBoii and Slimmy B until late 2018.
He went on to sign a solo deal with Def Jam Recordings and contributed to the label’s compilation album Undisputed as one of a number of young rappers who were added to its roster.
