“I’m excited to have Cofounded Shiller,” Snoop said in a statement. “A live audio and video broadcast platform that allows creators to reach their fans in unique ways and monetize their own content. Time to help tha fans on my own terms and Shiller is perfect for that.”
Shiller is billed as a game-changing streaming app where “everything is shoppable” on the marketplace. The app uses “web3 technology with live, interactive video and audio streaming to provide a one-stop-shop for creators, including NFT projects, artists, brands and key opinion leaders to monetize their following and connect with their audiences.”
“This app truly provides a platform for creators to reach their fans in unique ways and monetize their own content,” Snoop added. “As ya’ll know, I’m always about engaging my fans directly on my own terms and Shiller is perfect for that.”
2023 is shaping up to be another busy year for the Long Beach-bred polymath, who is preparing a “summer takeover” with longtime friend and Death Row collaborator Dr. Dre with new music on the way, having teased a joint album titled Missionary.
“Dynamic. Duo,” he wrote in the February announcement. “Music comin summer 23.”
Snoop also teamed up with Wiz Khalifa earlier this week for the lonely stoner anthem “Don’t Text Don’t Call.” The “Young, Wild & Free” duo revealed plans for a sequel to 2012’s Mac & Devin Go To High School in the works.
“High school reunion comin summer 23 @wizkhalifa,” Snoop wrote in his post accompanied by a photo of him and Wiz in the studio together.
