Slim Jxmmi has thrown a proverbial jab at Hurricane Chris by flexing his punching power ahead of a potential boxing match between the two.
The Rae Sremmurd rapper posted a trash-talking video on Instagram on Wednesday (October 16) letting the “A Bay Bay” rapper know he’s ready to rumble.

The “No Flex Zone” hitmaker further taunted his potential opponent in his caption, writing: “@hurricanechrisofficial I know you forgot. So this your reminder. Start training [100 emoji] cause I’m working with @officialbelaire.”
Hurricane Chris didn’t appear to be daunted by Jxmmi’s boxing skills and hit back with some tough talk of his own on his Instagram Stories, writing: “Now when I sleep him y’all don’t cry.”
Tension between the pair sparked up last month after Slim Jxmmi called out Hurricane Chris over comments he made about next year’s Super Bowl halftime show.
In an angry video shared on Instagram, the “A Bay Bay” hitmaker accused organizers of disrespecting New Orleans by picking Kendrick Lamar to perform at Super Bowl LIX instead of hometown legend Lil Wayne, who had openly coveted the gig.
Jxmmi specifically took issue with Chris linking the perceived snub to his recent complaint about 50 Cent’s Humor & Harmony festival in his native Shreveport, commenting on the post: “BRUH! AINT NO WAY YOU STILL REACHING! [crying face emoji].”
Keeping the same energy as his Super Bowl rant, Chris responded in threatening fashion by writing: “@slimjxmmi mind yo business unless you wanna see these hands bruh on god what’s poppin.”
