Sexyy Red has shown her appreciation for Nicki Minaj by injecting humor into her imitation of the hitmaker performing one of her early chart-toppers.
During a recent Instagram Live session, the “Pound Town” rapper channeled her inner Roman, delivering a few bars from “Stupid Hoe,” suggesting she’s been brushing up on Barbz earlier work.

“One, two, three, do the Nicki Minaj blink/ ‘Cause these hoes so busted, hoes is so crusty/ These bitches is my sons and I don’t want custody/ Hoes so busted, hoes is so crusty/ These bitches is my sons and I don’t want custody,” she raps, giving her best “Roman” impersonation.
“She was getting out of breath but she kept it going,” she added, acknowledging how she also struggled to maintain the momentum.
The hilarious tribute comes after news that the two MCs — who took the Hip Hop space by storm when they released “Pound Town 2” with Tay Keith last year — are running it back with another joint.
On Thursday (April 4), the New York rhymer teased a remix of one of her latest blockbusters in partnership with the Memphis up-and-comer.

Referring to their previous collaboration, she added: “a remix for a remix ?????”
Shortly after the aforementioned post was published, Sexyy replied with a simple request: “Song + Video?”
While Nicki didn’t explicitly endorse the suggestion, she did respond by quoting Sexyy’s question and saying: “Miss lady, bring the kids & the stroller that’s all I got to offer right now. [laughing emoji] a play date.

“If there were a male rapper featured on the 3rd verse of “FTCU,” who would be your guess? #PinkFriday2,” she wrote.
It remains uncertain whether her current plans for revamping the song still entail featuring a male artist.
