Sexyy Red has been victimized by a similar AI scam as Cardi B, and now, the “Pound Town” rapper claims she is getting her lawyers in line to start civil proceedings.

A tweet shared by user NateRuns on Tuesday (November 21) revealed that a digitized version of the St. Louis native’s voice had been used to advertise “free money” — wherein the would-be Sexyy Red claims that “the government be handin’ out stacks to y’all,” in what appears to be a stimulus check scam.

“Ummm does sexyy red know a company is using her voice to steal peoples info???” he wrote.

Just two days later, on Thursday (November 23), Sexyy Red quote-tweeted the video and wrote, “My lawyer bout to have a field day.”

Earlier this week, Cardi B made legal threats of her own after spotting a video which featured an AI-generated version of the “Bodak Yellow” rapper’s voice saying nearly the same thing as the AI-generated version of Sexyy Red’s voice.

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) on Wednesday (November 22), Bardi shared the clip which dubs her fake voice over a real video of her.

“Yo it’s ya girl Cardi and I’ma show you how to put $16,000 in your pocket right now for free!” AI Cardi says in the clip. “So pay attention! The state’s handing out these stacks to every single one of y’all. You don’t even need a job! It’s all part of a stimulus-style program to help Americans get back on their feet. They’re sending out these health spending cards re-loaded with that green every single month!”

In her retweet, Cardi wrote: “AI is crazy smh….another lawsuit that fell right on my lap…I love easy money.”

As she gets ready to fight to protect her voice, Sexyy Red has also recently made efforts to slightly change her image.

Following a viral video of a ballet teacher distraught over her young students requesting to hear “Poundtown,” the rising star promised to release kid-friendly versions of her X-rated tracks

The clip — which first came across Sexyy’s timeline on Monday (November 20) — hears the teacher call out the parents of children in “Pre-K to elementary school to high school.”

“Having to teach and work with you guys’ children has been the most traumatic experience of my life,” the ballet teacher says in the video. “I teach 5-year-olds ballet. Five-year-old girls ballet. I have a class of 10 students. They don’t respect any authority…”

After explaining how they disrespect her in their class, she then addressed the music issue: “Another thing that’s heart-wrenching, that’s horrifying – it is horrifying – your 5-year-old daughters are asking to listen to ‘Pound Town’! And ‘SkeeYee’! Your daughters, your 5-year-old daughters are asking, ‘Can we hear ‘Pound Town?’

“I’m playing them Princess Tiana ballet music and they are asking me, ‘Can we hear ‘Pound Town’?’ I don’t know what to do. I don’t know what to do and I’m so scared for these little girls today because this is the most insane, insane agenda push I have ever seen in my life.”
