Rihanna has her sights set on the actress she’d like to play her on the big screen — and it’s partly thanks to her “nice forehead.”
During the launch of her new Fenty Hair brand in Los Angels, the “Umbrella” singer was asked who she’d like to see cast as herself in a hypothetical biopic, and she didn’t take much time to come to a decision.

“Taylor [Russell],” Rihanna quickly told E! News on the red carpet. “Because she’s got a nice forehead and she’s fly and I feel like I want to be her, so I want her to pretend to be me.”
29-year-old Russell received her big break in the 2018 Netflix series Lost in Space and has since starred in movies such as Waves, Escape Room and Bones and All, the latter of which also featured Timothee Chalamet.
During that same red carpet interview, Rihanna also offered up some more details on her upcoming ninth album.
The 36-year-old revealed that she’s essentially “starting over” with the highly anticipated project and is finally ready to get back in the studio.

She said: “Music for me is a new discovery. I am re-discovering things. I have been working on the album for so long that I kind of put all of that stuff aside. And now, I’m prepared to go back in the studio. NOW I’m prepared. So I’m gonna start.”
She continued: “I’m starting over, but I don’t wanna neglect the songs that I have, so I wanna actually go back and listen to stuff with new ears, with my new perspective, and see what applies and see what I’m still in love with.”
The news came as a relief to fans after Rihanna was recently spotted out with A$AP Rocky in New York City rocking a T-shirt that read: “I’m retired.”
In smaller print, it also said: “This is as dressed up as I get.”
