Rakim has been summoned to Ohio this summer to perform at Insane Clown Posse‘s annual Gathering Of The Juggalos music festival.
The four-day event is scheduled to take place from August 14–18 at the Legend Valley concert venue in Thornville, Perry County. Whereas the daily lineups have yet to be released, the rap veteran is set to take the Macabre Stage along with Ganxta NIP, Static-X, Ouija Macc and more.

“Beware when crossing the gates into Legend Valley,” the Detroit duo shared about the concert series. “For once you do, you are crossing over into another world of surreal nature. All that is mundane and familiar is surrendered to the dominion of The Dark Carnival. A place where anything can happen, and quite often does.
“Impure souls are advised to tread carefully, lest they find their worst nightmares made manifest, in the most spectacular and terrible fashion. The wise among you would do well not to travel these haunted grounds alone. Though such bravery is appreciated, there is safety in numbers after all, and all are welcome to join us in the most macabre celebration of the mind-melting and unusual this side of The Nethervoid’s infernal pits!”

They concluded: “The Gathering of The Juggalos has been a sanctuary for our family for over two decades, and this year we hold our hatchets high for a commemoration of that very fact! Come one! Come all! For this horror themed Gathering as SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES!”
Rakim is currently gearing up to release his first studio album in 15 years.
In late May, the project’s executive producer Matthew “M80” Markoff took to social media to reveal that G.O.D.s NETWORK: REB7RTH will go live on July 26. Additionally, he also unveiled the stacked list of guest contributors who helped enhance its cuts.
Said LP will be the 56-year-old’s fourth solo LP, with assists from Snoop Dogg, Method Man, B.G., Kool G Rap, Canibus, Skyzoo, KXNG Crooked, Chino XL, 38 Spesh and Planet Asia as well as fallen soldiers such as DMX, Nipsey Hussle, Prodigy and Fred the Godson.
The first single “BE ILL” (featuring Kurupt and Masta Killa) was released in late June along with a music video.
