In other Q-Tip-related news, LL COOL released a new single last week called “The Force” which was produced by the A Tribe Called Quest legend.
The track, which LL debuted on Rock The Bells Radio, serves as the first preview of his upcoming 14th studio album, which will be produced entirely by Tip.
“The Force” borrows sonic elements from Q-Tip’s 1999 Amplified cut “End of Time” and lists the late, great Michael Jackson as a co-songwriter.
Q-Tip also recently received his flowers from singer H.E.R. regarding the amount of music he’s introduced her to.

“I don’t know who I relate to the most, but one of my favorite rappers of all time is Q-Tip,” she said in an interview with The Source. “I actually got to meet him one time and he put me onto so much music. And I didn’t realize how much music he was inspired by outside of Hip Hop.
“He to me just focuses on having fun with the music and making people feel something without kind of trying. Just kind of being him.”
