“I’m not like my dad; I’m smarter than him,” Tariq says to his grandmother at one point in the intense trailer.
It appears that Davis MacLean (Method Man) is taking on a larger mentor/consultant role in Tariq’s life as well that extends well beyond their attorney/client relationship.

“Season 3 takes off in dramatic form with brand new twists, turns, and murder,” a press release for the new season promises. “[It’s] flashier, juicer, and sexier, with even more family drama, betrayals, and surprising new alliances,”
Even though he’s moved onto FOX after his relationship with STARZ soured and his deal expired last year, 50 Cent is still involved in Power as an executive producer and he has high hopes for Season 3.
“It’s lit March 17 we getting ready to do STARWARS numbers LOL,” he wrote to Instagram.
While Season 3 debuts on STARZ on March 17, Season 4 has already received the green light from the premium cable network. Production on the fourth season is already reportedly underway in New York with actor Michael Ealy set to be introduced as a regular in the show.
Ealy will play the part of Detective Don Carter, an NYPD officer set to become Police Commissioner until his wife is murdered by drug gangs.
