PnB Rock‘s murder investigation is continuing to unravel with two new suspects being charged with his death.
According to court documents obtained by Rolling Stone, 45-year-old Tremont Navon Jones appeared at a Compton courthouse on Monday (October 30) alongside Freddie Trone, the alleged getaway driver and father of the juvenile charged with shooting and killing the rapper.

Jones has been charged with two counts of robbery, one count of conspiring to rob PnB Rock inside the Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles and one count of illegal possession of a firearm. He stands accused of tipping off the killers to Rock’s whereabouts and possibly supplying the gun for his murder.
Jones, who allegedly fist-bumped PnB Rock upon entering the restaurant, was arrested last May in connection with the murder, but his charges were filed under a different case number, causing them to fly under the radar.

Freddie Trone was arrested and charged shortly after the murder alongside his 17-year-old son, who allegedly pulled the trigger, as well as his wife Shauntel Trone, who was charged as an accessory after the fact.
The other new suspect in the case, Wynisha Evans, has been charged with being an accessory after the fact following her arrest last May. Prosecutors allege she drove Trone from Los Angeles to Las Vegas after the murder to help him escape a manhunt.
Jones and Evans have both pleaded not guilty to their respective charges, along with Freddie and Shauntel Trone.
PnB Rock was eating at Roscoe’s Chicken & Waffles in South Los Angeles with his girlfriend Stephanie Sibounheuang on September 12, 2022 when a gunman walked in, demanded his jewelry and fired multiple shots before fleeing in an SUV.

More new details that have emerged reveal the suspects allegedly tried to cover-up the crime, but their botched efforts led investigators right to their door.
Authorities claim Freddie Trone tried to destroy the getaway vehicle by setting his wife’s car on fire, before fleeing the scene of the arson in the early hours of September 13, 2022.
Surveillance footage showed Freddie dressed in all black with gloves on his hands at 2:28 a.m. the day after PnB Rock’s murder. He allegedly manipulated something in his hands and the car taillights were activated before he got into the vehicle.
At 2:45 a.m., a caller reported the vehicle was on fire two blocks from the Trones’ home, with a melted gas canister found at the scene.

Shauntel told police her car must have been stolen, but there was no sign of broken glass where she claimed it was last parked and the vehicle showed no signs of forced entry.
Furthermore, Freddie Trone allegedly had burns on his forearm and legs after the suspected arson.
When dealer plates led investigators to a used car lot two days after the murder, they learned that Freddie and Shauntel Trone had visited earlier that same day to buy a new car.
