Playboi Carti‘s alleged lollipop from his recent “2024” music video has been listed for sale on eBay.
On Wednesday (December 20), a listing for the used candy surfaced on the e-commerce platform. According to the Atlanta-based seller, the sucker was found on the floor at the location of the video shoot.

“After seeing how eager fans are for a piece of Playboi Carti, me and my team decided to head to the location of the video ‘2024’ by Playboi Carti,” the description reads. “Shot at the Valero Gas station off 3500 Ashford Dunwoody in Brookhaven, Georgia.
“After spending 6 hours from 5:00am to 12:00pm hunting for any Playboi Carti’s belonging. My best friend Jeff found the famous Blue raspberry blow pop!! After shooting the video, it appears Carti decided to throw his lollipop near these bushes a few feet away.”

The item has so far received nine bids, with the highest being $74. The listing is due to expire in eight days.
Another bizarre Playboi Carti-related listing also appeared on eBay this week, with a clump of grass allegedly from the same video shoot fetching bids of up to $14,300.
These are certainly not the first unusual rap-related items to be sold on eBay. In 2015, a bag of air from Kanye West’s Yeezus Tour was auctioned off for over $60,000.
Nicki Minaj also made headlines when an acrylic nail that the rapper was said to have worn while performing at the 2022 MTV VMAs reportedly sold for the steep price of $55,000.

Meanwhile, the hype surrounding Playboi Carti’s used goods may prove to be fruitful as it’s created a little free publicity ahead of the release of his long-awaited follow-up to 2020’s Whole Lotta Red, which is slated to drop in January.
