It was back in June that the hype train first started rolling out of the station for the collab between the legendary rap duo and Pharrell.
Pusha T and No Malice corroborated the rumors about a new Clipse project, and they confirmed that the project’s production will be handled in its entirety by the N.E.R.D. veteran.

In an interview with Vulture, the siblings detailed how Pharrell will be the sole producer of their first album since 2009’s Til the Casket Drops and how that affects the record.
Pusha T said: “Pharrell producing everything is also an ode to the type of music and the type of albums we want to make. We still want to make full bodies of work. These are movies, man. These aren’t just songs. This isn’t just a collection of joints we went in and banged out.”
He also detailed the studio atmosphere between the brothers and their close collaborators: “This is arguing. This is a problem. These are people passionate about their opinions and making sure that everybody’s on their A-game. Listen, I can be mad at the engineer, you know what I’m saying? Even he has to be on point. I think that’s the level of meticulousness that a Clipse fan looks for.”

The other half of The Neptunes – Chad Hugo – has not been involved in the creation of the album due to his ongoing legal issues with Pharrell over the rights to the trademark of the acclaimed production duo.
A release date for the upcoming album has yet to be announced.
