Pete Rock is determined not to let a Grammy loss get in the way of continuing his partnership with Common — and he has already begun teasing a follow-up to their duo project The Auditorium Vol. 1.

That LP was nominated for a Grammy for Best Rap Album. On Sunday (February 2), after losing to Doechii‘s Alligator Bites Never Heal, Pete Rock took to Instagram to share a message about his lack of disappointment in the result.

The following day, Rock returned to IG with a photo of him and Common wearing what appeared to be a version of The Notorious B.I.G.‘s tilted crown.

He captioned the picture: “VOL.2 WILL BE INTERESTING.”
