Pardison Fontaine has seemingly left his breakup with Megan Thee Stallion and all its surrounding drama in 2023, as he partied with his new girlfriend on New Year’s Eve.
Taking to his Instagram on Monday (January 1), Pardi shared a video with a twerking Jada Kingdom as his music played in the background and confetti was exploding.

Pardison and the dancehall/R&B singer have been dating since at least September, when they had their “hard launch” by walking hand-in-hand at New York Fashion Week. However, he’s continued to have his fair share of drama with Megan Thee Stallion since then.
In November, Meg alleged Pardi had cheated on her in the lyrics of her song “Cobra.”

“Pulled up, caught him cheatin’, gettin’ his dick sucked in the same spot I’m sleepin’/ Lord, give me a break, I don’t know how much more of this shit I can take,” she raps.
In response, Pardison Fontaine dropped “THEE PERSON” weeks later and completely denied the allegations that many listeners assumed to be directed at him, questioning her credibility in the process.

“I’d like to apologize for no longer keeping up with your lies or supporting your habits to tell half-truths/ I hope this message reaches you well/ Hope you get the help you need,” he says on the song’s intro before going into detail about their relationship.
Then in a December interview, Pardi once again denied having cheated on Meg and even clarified that he still wishes her the best.

“I’m a person that believes that love doesn’t go away; it changes,” he said on The Breakfast Club. “I always want well for her. I’m not a person that wants bad for her; I’m not out here calling her all types of such-and-such; I’ve never even discussed some of the things on that song with my closest friends […] I never, ever once ever talked bad about her.”
When asked about buying an engagement ring for her at one point, he explained that he changed his mind about marrying Meg after she was dishonest with him, though he didn’t specify what exactly happened.

“I felt like [the lie] made me definitely have to second guess where we was at, at that time,” he explained. “It did damage. Like internal, I don’t know if it made us break apart, but it definitely took a blow to me.”
For her part, Meg addressed Pardi in an Instagram Live.
“I don’t have anything bad to say about my ex — I genuinely don’t,” she began, referencing the fact that she never mention him by name on the song.
“If I’m not talking about you, why you talking about me? You said, ‘I didn’t cheat,’ so why you thought that bar was for you? Why you making the shoe fit, Cinderella? Like, you’re squeezing your foot in there, friend.
