Omarion and Nia Long have found themselves at the center of some dating rumors following a red carpet appearance earlier this week.
The former B2K singer sparked the conversation after sharing a video to Twitter on Thursday (January 19), that saw him posing with the actor at the premiere of her latest film You People. After taking a first picture together, Nia Long proceeded to grab Omarion’s hand, bringing him along as she continued to make her way past the row of photographers.

The former Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood cast member posted the moment without commentary, other than a smiley face. However fans began speculating about the connection between the two stars.
Omarion’s tweet — which had been viewed over 12 million times and retweeted close to 14,000 times as of this writing — eventually made its way to a few celebrity news and gossip pages on Instagram. Which is when Nia Long jumped in to clear up the rumors.
After spotting the video on The Shade Room‘s feed, the Love Jones star hopped into to the comments to clarify her relationship status, writing: “Everybody simmer down… I’m single AF [wink-kiss emoji].”
This isn’t the first time the internet has attempted to link Nia Long to an artist in the wake of her messy public breakup with former fiancé Ime Udoka in September of last year, when it was revealed that Udoka had been suspended from his role as head coach of the Boston Celtics due to an improper relationship with a team staffer.

The morning after the news broke, J. Cole woke up to his name trending on social media thanks to the popular lyric from his 2014 single “No Role Modelz,” which found the rapper confessing to crushing on Long.
Weeks later, Cam’ron joined the conversation when he reposted a series of screenshots of several paragraphs of flowery language he sent the 51-year-old actress in an Instagram DM.
“Hey stink. I was giving you some time to yourself till I reached out,” Cam’ron’s romantic message began. “Your perseverance as a strong black woman through this turbulent time has been something to behold.
“You shouldn’t be taken advantage of and exploited as you did nothing to deserve this,” he continued. “Especially all over these sports networks. You’re bigger and better then [sic] that. You’re a queen, and by the way I’m a king. Together we can achieve the greatness we were both destine [sic] for as a couple.”
