OJ Da Juiceman has recalled a time in his career when he got booed offstage in New York while opening up for the Wu-Tang Clan.
In a sitdown with The 85 South Comedy Show, OJ said the brutal night went down right around the time he made the song “Who’s Real” with Jadakiss in 2009 and said he had never been booed like that before.

“I got booed in New York,” OJ said. “These folks, n-gga it was right around the time I got the song with Jadakiss. These folks booked me at a B.B. King bruh, but took me to a Wu-Tang Clan. I opened up for Wu-Tang Clan. You know what the crowd look like? Do you know what the crowd look like?”
He continued: “N-gga, I’m getting mad arguing with these folks while I rap like, ‘Why I’ll beat your ass boy! Pussy ass n-gga!’ I was mad as hell boy, I ain’t never been booed fool. I was like, ‘Bro, why would they do that? Why would y’all put me on a Wu-Tang Clan…'”
The hilarious story from OJ comes as Wu-Tang Clan announce the arrival of a new book called Legacy ahead of the 30th anniversary of the group’s seminal debut album Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers).
The sprawling 300-page book, which was announced on Tuesday (December 13), will be stationed inside a handmade golden globe casket designed by legendary sculptor Gethin Jones. Only 36 copies of the book will be sold, which inside will feature rare and never-before-seen images documenting the group’s journey. One of the copies will be auctioned off at Sotheby’s.
“The Wu-Tang Clan: Legacy delves into the origin of the group, their history and respective journeys,” a press release reads. “Thoroughly and meticulously, this quintessential publication will honor not only the remarkable roster, but the executives, the affiliates, family and pivotable personnel that helped make the Wu-Tang Clan and the Legacy book come to life, unpacking their rich and raw history.”
Each book will be printed, bound and hand-stitched in Italy, and will be hand-signed, numbered and issued with a certificate of authenticity.

In other OJ Da Juiceman news, the “Cop a Chicken” rapper ran into a bit of legal trouble earlier this year. The 40-year-old lyricist (real name Otis Williams Jr.) was arrested on gun and drug charges in Hardin County, Kentucky back on May 2, and was charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
