NLE Choppa‘s face tattoo of Chrisean Rock has been revealed to be all a big hoax, one encouraged by his friends.
The Memphis rapper made the revelation in an interview with The Shade Room on Tuesday (March 5). There, he revealed that the idea was proposed by Lil Mabu — and that it was all done for the sake of “content.”

“The face tatt idea came from Lil Mabu, so y’all gotta go blame him because he told me to do it,” he said, adding that he’d initially said no to the idea, and that he doesn’t know how Chrisean felt about the stunt because she refuses to take his phone calls.
He continued: “It was photoshopped, too. I just [took] a picture of my face, blended it all good. That idea came about through Mabu, and I said you know what? I thought about it for a day, talked to some of the guys about it. They said, ‘Man, that sh*t would go viral.’…So I said, let’s just do it.”

The video he’s referring to is his visual for a remix of “Shotta Flow 7,” which features Rock’s one-time boo Lil Mabu and a video vixen who bears more than a passing resemblance to the reality star.
Both artists have a history of antipathy with Blueface.

NLE Choppa’s beef began when Blueface allegedly hit on his baby’s mother Marissa Da’Nae, while Lil Mabu’s started when he and Rock began hooking up.
During an Instagram Live last December, Da’Nae said the rapper got angry with her when she rebuffed his efforts and mentioned that she’s friends with his ex-girlfriend Chrisean Rock.
After catching wind of the drama, Choppa checked Blueface for “bullying women.”
“Keep bullying women, that ain’t gone work here,” he wrote on X. “[And] stop snitching that ain’t very SY of you P.S.shotta flow 7 out now too.”

In January, Choppa challenged Blue to a boxing match after Blueface threw shade at him on the remix to his then-fiancée Jaidyn Alexis’ viral song “Barbie,” on which he also named Offset, Cardi B, and Soulja Boy.
“Oh, N-L-E baby mama wanna hit/ Why you lying ’bout the number, bitch? You know I got the digits/ I ain’t never pulled it out and ain’t have a bitch to kiss it,” he rapped.
