Nipsey Hussle’s killer has been warned that his life in prison will be “hell” as he prepares to serve his life sentence.
In a viral video of a recent court appearance in Los Angeles, Eric Holder Jr. was told he’s in for a rough ride behind bars, with “all the gangs” looking to exact revenge on him for gunning down the beloved Victory Lap rapper.

Despite reports claiming the warning came from the judge presiding over the case, Hollywood Unlocked confirmed it actually came from Holder’s own lawyer, presumably in an attempt to get him placed in protective custody.
“Once he gets to state prison, he’s a target,” the attorney told the court in the clip. “There’s a green light on him from all the gangs, all the people that loved Nipsey Hussle. And so, his life in prison is going to be hell… for as long as it lasts.”
Holder was sentenced to 60 years to life in prison last month for the murder of Nipsey Hussle, who he shot and killed in broad daylight outside his Marathon Clothing store in South Los Angeles in March 2019.
The fatal shooting allegedly stemmed from a conversation between the two men, in which Nipsey warned Holder there was “paperwork” on him, implying he had cooperated with police.
“Triggered” by the “serious accusation,” his lawyer argued during the trial, Holder returned several minutes later and shot the Crenshaw rapper 11 times, while also injuring two other men.
The 33-year-old was convicted of first-degree murder — along with attempted voluntary manslaughter and assault for shooting the other victims — last July and showed no reaction to the verdict, according to the Los Angeles Times.

While his decades-long prison sentence is poised to be a perilous one, life behind bars has been no walk in the park for Holder since his arrest in April 2019. The gang member was assaulted by two fellow inmates in jail last June and suffered a cut to the back of his head with a razor.
Holder’s public defender, Aaron Jansen, said his client required three staples in the back of his head. A photo of Holder sat in court after the attack showed him nursing a swollen eye, swollen lips and cuts on his head.
