Nipsey Hussle and Hit-Boy will make a cameo on J. Stone’s upcoming album, The Definition of Success, which is due to arrive next week.
During an interview on The Bootleg Kev Podcast that premiered on Tuesday (November 14), Stone, a longtime friend and collaborator of Nipsey’s, revealed that his next LP will include a track featuring both the late rapper and Hit-Boy.

“It’s on the album,” he said. “I’m low-key ready to drop that right now, you feel me, but, y’know, I’ll let ya’ll wait for it, man. Let ya’ll press play.”
He added: “[It was] something that we worked on in 2018, you feel me? Y’know, we just spiced up the beat just a little bit, y’know what I mean, ’cause it’s 2023 now, so, y’know, we made it make sense.”
The late West Coast rapper’s influence continues to persist years after his untimely demise in 2019. Earlier this month, Lloyd Banks announced that he will selling his next mixtape, Cold Corner 3, using a method popularized by Nipsey.
While interacting with fans on Twitter earlier this month, the former G-Unit soldier revealed that he plans to charge fans $100 to listen to his upcoming project.
In response to a follower who commented on Banks dropping two projects in one year — The Course of the Inevitable III: Pieces of My Pain and Halloween Havoc IV — he replied: “It’s all good..CC3 won’t be on streaming sites..only available thru me for $100 then we’ll see if they back the talking up.”
When one fan pushed back against the “crazy high” price tag and pointed out that they’ve been “waiting on that shit for a decade,” the Queens, New York native jokingly countered: “10 dollars per year..that’s not bad [crying face emoji].”

The $100 mixtape fee was famously pioneered a decade ago by Nipsey Hussle, who charged fans that amount for his Crenshaw project. It was also made available to download for free online.
It was a lucrative move as the late rapper generated $100,000 after selling all 1,000 physical copies in less than 24 hours at a pop-up store in his hometown of L.A. JAY-Z, who is Hip Hop’s ultimate hustler, was impressed by this and ended up purchasing 100 copies himself.
