Nicki Minaj has called on Diddy to assist in an issue she’s taken up with his sometimes-girlfriend Yung Miami over a phrase that she feels she put on the map.
The issue arose after the City Girls rapper shared a preview of her new Caresha Please episode with Summer Walker, where she uses the phrase, “Let’s get into something, chile!” According to Nicki, she has been using this phrase on her own show Queen Radio for some time and she’s not appreciating it being “borrowed.”

“*Hits @Diddy to advise him that a young lady on a show that appears on his network seems to have ‘borrowed’ a very popular #QueenRadio catch phrase*,” Nicki tweeted on Wednesday (May 24). “Puff, who representing u these days chile? I got my shit drafted in my HEAD B!CH @YungMiami305 talkin bout u got into some thangssss. Um chile, anyways, so…[laughing emojis].”
With no interest in backing down, Yung Miami retweeted the post and added a response of her own. “Nicki @NICKIMINAJ what’s really the problem???” she wrote with a thinking emoji. “cause I definitely didn’t get that from you LOL [laughing emoji] ‘let’s get into some thing Chile’ actually is a gay slang Lmaooooo.”

Nicki responded: “Caresha now you know damn well [laughing emojis] ‘gay slang” is the first go-to nowadays. Let’s discuss it on #QueenRadio chile. If not, I’m hittin Puff right now. You know he used to manage me right? Now it’s my man my man my man 😂 Puff what up? Hit my line chi @Diddy”
Yung Miami ended the chat there with: “Yeah I’m On my way to his house im Finna call you when I get there.”
Before getting cool with Miami’s City Girls groupmate JT in late 2022, Nicki Minaj previously said she had no interest in collaborating with the duo – citing previous tweets the girls made pre-fame that were critical of her.
“And the thing is whenever you post something on the internet it’s there forever, whenever you say something in an interview, it’s there forever,” Nicki explained in a February 2022 interview.
“So as an artist and a human being first, if I, as a regular human, was about to go to dinner with you tonight and then I get something that says, ‘Yo, she don’t really fuck with you like that, she was saying this and she don’t really like you, and she said she hopes you actually never pop or never flourish’… I’m not going out to dinner with you anymore because now I know that I like you but you really don’t like me.”
She added: “That’s just a human way to feel, if you hear somebody was saying things about you — not just one thing — but repeated things, repeated tweets for years, not just one thing … It’s let go. It’s let’s go, but it’s about, why would I work with somebody who doesn’t like me?”
