The profound Patrick Tohill-directed clip finds NF examining his internal struggles while stranded by himself on a wooden treebark platform in the middle of the ocean. He miraculously makes his way to the shoreline in inspiring fashion.

“What’s my definition of success?/ Listening to what your heart says,” he raps.

In contrast to his all-white wardrobe, an NF draped in black invades the scene and pushes him through the roof of what appears to be a prison of sorts, where he’s forced to combat the struggles going on inside his head.

“Thirty years of running, 30 years of searching/ Thirty years of hurting, 30 years of pain/Thirty years of fearful, 30 years of anger/Thurty years of empty, 30 years of shame,” NF bellows to close out the track.

Fans were excited to hear the 31-year-old’s latest offering as he sets the stage for another album next month.

“Man that HOPE track just hit me DIFFERENT! Just turned 30, that shit took me on a deep dive mentally! NF is that real music,” one person wrote in his comment section on Instagram.

NF’s HOPE album is slated to be released on April 17 and the 13-track effort features a pair of rare collaborations with Cordae and Julia Michaels.

The Michigan native’s previous two albums both went No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 2019’s The Search pulling the upset over Chance The Rapper’s The Big Day to nab the top spot.
