This week’s New Music Friday feaures a few other blog era favorites, with Big Sean striking up a potent new partnership with The Alchemist, Chance The Rapper reuniting with an old friend and Lupe Fiasco dusting off his near-mythical Child Rebel Soldier supergroup.

Cash Cobain & Laila! feat. Big Sean, Fabolous, Luh Tyler, Rob49, Flo Milli, 6LACK, Kaliii, Anycia, Don Q, YN Jay, Lay Bankz, Kenzo B, Chow Lee & Flee — “Problem”
Produced By: Cash Cobain
Taking it back to the days of when songs like The Game‘s “One Blood” would feature a million MCs on the remix, New York’s hottest new star assembles an Avengers-level cast for this heavily-teased (and heavily-stacked) posse cut. If only this had dropped at the start of the summer.
Lupe Fiasco (Child Rebel Soldier) — “Shrink”
Produced By: Radiohead
Lupe Fiasco has kept his promise to “reboot” his Child Rebel Soldier supergroup with Kanye West and Pharrell, albeit with a major twist. The bad news: there’s no Ye or P. The good news: Lupe can still rock a Radiohead beat. (“Shrink” samples the band’s Kid A classic “Optimistic.”)

Coi Leray — “Not in the Store”
Produced By: Pharrell
Coi Leray takes a page out of 50 Cent‘s “Window Shopper” playbook and flexes both her wardrobe and wallet over a Jersey Club-inspired beat from Pharrell. “Not in the Store” comes courtesy of Skateboard P’s partnership with art and entertainment company Doodles which will produce an NFT animated film called Dullsville and The Doodleverse (which Coi lends her voice to alongside Lil Wayne).
Tory Lanez — “Featherweight” + “F&V”
Produced By: Dose Beats. Majestic Bxndz, Play Picasso, Svdominik & Von Lindex | Absi, ArmoTunez, MIKEWAVVS & Play Picasso

Fivio Foreign feat. Kodak Black & Donald Trump — “ONBOA47RD”
Produced By: Credits unavailable
It was no secret that Kodak Black is a die-hard Trump fan, but now Fivio Foreign has come out as the latest MAGA rapper. “When Trump called me I was on tour / That was my win and it’s your loss,” he raps. The song even opens with audio from the former president’s 2017 inauguration. Politics aside, this beat goes hard.
Rylo Rodriguez — “85 Cutlass”
Produced By: Juko, Eighty8, Saucii & Lil Baby
4PF’s other star cruises over soulful yet trunk-rattling production as he navigates the highs and lows of the rap star lifestyle. For some reason, the accompanying video features a Lamborghini Urus but not an actual ’85 Cutlass.
Joy Orbison feat. Future, Playboi Carti & Lil Yachty — “flex fm (freddit)”
Produced By: Joy Orbison
London meets Atlanta on this new bugged-out banger from the British house/dubstep producer. “flex fm (freddit)” is more MDMA-fueled rave than Magic City, though.
