Nelly‘s Black White Ball returned to his hometown of St. Louis for the first time in seven years, but the part of the gala that made headlines wasn’t its support for Make-A-Wish Missouri or other charities. Instead, it had to do with Ashanti and belly-rubbing.
On Sunday (December 3), a moment of Nelly and Ashanti onstage at the party was captured on video and posted on the internet, where it was picked up by a number of entertainment sites.

In the clip, Nelly and Ashanti — who confirmed several months ago that they are dating — can be seen onstage together. Both of them rub Ashanti’s stomach, and Nelly appears to be laughing while doing so.
Notably, some of this rubbing comes in response to the emcee’s exhortation that the celebrity couple should “seal the deal.”

All of this led many online to speculate that Ashanti was pregnant with the couple’s child. “Nelly done knocked up Ashanti,” wrote one observer.
“Ashanti and Nelly is pregnant. I love for that them!” added another.
“Ashanti and Nelly having a baby or they trolling,” a third person speculated, while someone else said: “Nelly got Ashanti pregnant .. Bul a legend.”
This is not the first time that Nelly, Ashanti and the potential of a baby have made news. Last month, the “Hot In Herre” rapper responded jokingly to a fan who who brought up the possibility.

In an Instagram video, Nelly shared a clip of a new car gifted to him by Ashanti for his birthday with the caption: “Dammm mama you did that [blue-heart emoji, bicep emoji, facepalm emoji] ..!! Bday gift overkill …!!”
In the comments section, one fan brazenly wrote: “Get her pregnant @nelly [laughing emoji] TONIGHT!!” to which the Grammy-winner succinctly replied: “I’m on it” along with a salute emoji.
