Nelly and Ashanti‘s reunion, which has led to marriage and a baby, is set to be captured in an upcoming docuseries for Peacock.

According to Deadline, the show is currently filming and has already been in production for several months.

No further details have been made available at this time, but it is likely that the series will cover the couple’s wedding and birth of their first baby last year.

The docuseries is being produced by Critical Content, the company behind the popular Catfish series.

Nelly and Ashanti are also named as producers on the show but neither have yet commented on the announcement.

While the as-yet-untitled series will be Ashanti’s first foray into reality TV, Nelly previously appeared in the BET show Nellyville, which aired in 2014.

The news comes after it was reported that the couple are already expecting their second child.

The “Body On Me” collaborators only welcomed a baby boy, Kareem Kenkaide Hayes, last July, but according to The Jasmine Brand, 44-year-old Ashanti is pregnant once again, though it is not known how far along she is.

Neither Ashanti nor Nelly have yet confirmed the rumors.

The couple not only managed to keep their first baby a secret until they were ready to share the news, they also did the same thing with their marriage.

Last June, TMZ got their hands on a marriage record for the superstar duo that revealed they tied the knot on December 27, 2023.

Ashanti had confirmed their engagement the following April and reflected on the moment Nelly popped the question during a conversation with Entertainment Tonight.

“It was just such a beautiful, intimate moment,” she said. “We were not dressy.”

Considering the pair were lying in bed and watching TV in T-shirts and boxers, she was rightfully “shocked” that her partner picked that setting.

The R&B singer added: “I cried. I gave him the biggest hug and kiss ever. I FaceTimed everyone I know … I was overjoyed and shocked and surprised and happy kind of like all in one.”

The couple got back together in 2023 after dating in the early 2000s and then spending over a decade apart.
