Ne-Yo has taken to social media to show a softer side of himself by posting a carousel of pictures which shows all seven of his beautiful children.
On Friday (July 7), the Grammy Award-winning singer went to Instagram and posted pictures of himself alongside his children in what appears to be a moment where he was getting ready for a performance. In the last two slides, all seven children could be seen posing for a normal picture, then a silly one.

Ne-Yo made sure to let the world know in his caption that his role as a father supersedes everything else in his life.
“I’m a FATHER before I’m anything else,” he began. “Not money, not fame, not even the love of the craft. I do this for THEM. THEY are my reason. I’m nowhere near perfect and that’s ok. My kids love me. And I’d die, kill, steal, whatever to make sure they never need for anything. The best thing I’ve ever done [love face emoji].”

He continued: “I LOVE MY TRIBE!! I LOVE MY SQUAD!! AND I WILL FOR ALL OF THIS LIFE AND THE NEXT…AND THE NEXT! [love face emojis].”
While there is a mixture of positive and negative opinions in the comments section, one that sticks out the most is from his ex-wife Monyetta Shaw who spoke about the importance of the children being at the center of attention.
“This is what it’s all about!!!,” she said. “These priceless moments with the kids that they will cherish forever! GREAT JOB & thank you for including my bonus baby Gigi! They are still talking about it……talking to The President of The United States & all the fun at The White House! Thanks tons!”
All of Ne-Yo’s children include Madilyn Grace Smith, Mason Evan Smith, Isabella Rose, Roman Alexander-Raj, Shaffer Chimere Jr., Braiden, and Brixton.
In other news, Ne-Yo was recently caught off guard when an overzealous fan got too comfortable with the “Closer” singer on stage.

During a recent performance at Nelly’s Hot In Herre Festival in Toronto, Ne-Yo sprung into action after the excited fan took his trademark fedora off the top of his head.
With a quick-witted smile and a simple grab of his garment, Ne-Yo made sure to let her know that touching his hat is completely off-limits.
“Kai’s not a Ne-Yo fan. She know good and goddamn well she wasn’t supposed to grab my hat,” he said. “Kai get your ass back over there!”

Ne-Yo then preceded to scoot the fan off stage by the waist so that he could continue his performance. As she performed a quick twerk dance before exiting, the crooner put the final nail in the coffin by pretending to boot her off the stage by kicking his leg out in hilarious fashion.
Once the video starting going viral on social media, the 43-year-old singer saw the funny side of things by leaving a few laughing emojis under an Instagram post.
