NAV has suggested that he’ll be adding some all-star firepower behind the boards of his much-anticipated album, On My Way 2 Rexdale.

In an Instagram story that went viral on Monday (May 27), the Toronto rapper posted photos of himself behind the boards with Pharrell Williams, which seemed to be a hint that the ex-Neptune will be working on a song with the rapper.

Recently, NAV made headlines in the early stages of what turned into the Drake and Kendrick Lamar beef.

It started when both Nas and Rick Ross unfollowed Drake on Instagram — which prompted a troll from the 6 God.

Drizzy took to Instagram back in March to share photos from a recent It’s All A Blur – Big As the What? Tour stop, and captioned the post with a NAV lyric.

Quoting a line from the XO rapper’s “Turks” collaboration with Gunna, he wrote: “I ain’t picking up I’m in Turks lil baby [zany face emoji].”

Drake’s post came shortly after eagle-eyed fans noticed that both NAV and Rozay were no longer following the Toronto rap star on Instagram.

The small unfollowing spree came after Metro Boomin spoke about picking sides following the release of his joint album with FutureWe Don’t Trust You, which contains several shots at Drake — shots that, of course, soon turned into a volley of songs back and forth between Drizzy and Kendrick.

“Once you pick a side stay there.. #WEDONTTRUSTYOU,” Metro wrote on X (formerly Twitter).

As for Pharrell Williams, he recently made headlines when he added Janelle Monae to his all-star lineup in an as-yet-unnamed movie musical.

The “Tightrope” singer will star in the Michel Gondry-directed and Pharrell-produced film.

The film is reportedly set in Virginia Beach in the summer of 1977, inspired by the neighborhood where Williams grew up, particularly the Atlantis Apartments.

Other actors set to be featured in the film include Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Halle Bailey, Brian Tyree Henry and rap legend Missy Elliott.
