Nicki Minaj has announced that Monica will be joining her on the North American leg of her upcoming Pink Friday 2 Tour.
In an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show, The Boy Is Mine rapper revealed that the tour will precede at least two new projects: an R&B project on which she’s been working for a number of years and a Country album

“I’m really grateful for Nicki because she’s one of those people that has always said, ‘Monica meant everything to my childhood,'” the Atlanta native said. “Some people act like they forget and it’s pretty cool to not be forgotten and to be called for things like such, so we’re going to show up and show out.”
In an official announcement on her Instagram page soon after, Nicki reiterated, “I’ve said many times, this woman has been one of my biggest inspirations since I was in Junior H.S. [pink bow emoji] The iconic, trendsetting, Miss Thang herself- hits on hits on hits.”

The Pink Friday rapper continued, “QUEEN@monicadenise will be one of the incredible artists accompanying me on the US dates of the#PinkFriday2 #GagCity Tour.”

The news came after Chun Li publicly called on Monica and Keyshia Cole to create a rap song with her during an impromptu freestyle session.
The trio then made right on Nicki’s challenge on Pink Friday 2 (Gag City Deluxe), with the release of the three’s first official song together, “Love Me Enough.”

The Pink Friday 2 World Tour will be kicking off in Oakland, California on March 1 2024. The North American leg featuring Monica will run through cities across America, including New Orleans, Atlanta, Charlotte, New York, Philadelphia and more.
Ahead of the tour, Nicki Lewinsky has been spotted practicing choreography for the album’s standout hit, “FCTU.”
Although some fans have pointed out during one of her latest Instagram live streams that the rapper seems to be moving far less than her backup dancers, others seem to be relieved that she has taken a break from her feud with Megan Thee Stallion.
Despite the latest controversy, Nicki Minaj and the Barbz will be headed to Gag City soon.

Barbie and Monica have 34 tour dates planned together, and if “Love Me Enough” is any indication, it seems that the pair might be gearing up to record more music together in the near future.
