Money Man has said that he’s a special kind of rapper, one that doesn’t need any security to protect him because of his hardcore fitness and shooting routine.
In an interview with MONTREALITY, the former Cash Money signee spoke about the importance of maintaining a healthy diet, revealing at one point in his life he weighed over 300 pounds.

“Once I learned to eat right, I do that. I’m gonna make sure I’m physically training and I’m gonna make sure I’m rich as hell,” he said when asked what life will look like for him when he enters his 80s.
“I was 340 pounds at one point — a bout 229, 230 now, so I lost 100 pounds over the years. Routine kinda makes perfection, so if you’re training for something and you do it every day, you’re gonna become elite at it.”

He continued: “So my routine is wake up, run 10 miles, then I go shoot for four or five hours. Then I go back to the crib and I record every day. So I try to keep that routine. I’ve turned down shows just to keep my routine going.
“I don’t like having security, like grown men having to secure me, so I’m gonna make sure I’m on point at all times. I work on my senses, all kinda shit like that.”
Silencing any critics who may have raised an eyebrow at his claims, Money Man posted a video on Twitter showing him logging almost nine miles on the treadmill, along with another clip of him honing his aim at the shooting range.
“Daily routine,” he captioned the footage, while adding in separate tweets: “Shit ain’t no secret big money at da range 4 hrs a day ifykyk … No talking just show and prove.”
This is far from the first time Money Man has shown himself to be a one-of-a-kind rapper. The Atlanta-via-New York product made history in 2021 when he became the first artist to ever receive an advance completely in Bitcoin from his label EMPIRE.
Money Man then dropped Blockchain, a project dedicated to everything crypto-related, which featured contributions from Moneybagg Yo, Jackboy and 2022 HipHopDX Rising Star BLEU.

Money Man’s pioneering money moves even inspired Meek Mill to follow in his footsteps. “Ima get my next record deal paid in bitcoin behind @moneyman,” Meek wrote on his IG Stories at the time next to a screenshot of the $1,002,912 advance Money Man had received.
However, not everyone is feeling Money Man’s career moves. GloRilla recently took issue with the rapper namedropping her on his latest album Red Eye, which he dropped earlier this month.
“Skinny bitch inside my DMs, she remind me of GloRilla/ I had drew down on a fan, but he only wanted a picture,”Money Man rapped on the song “Saweetie.”
After catching wind of the lyrics, Big Glo took to Twitter to voice her disapproval, while asking her followers to help her identify the culprit behind the unflattering rhymes.
