Mike Jones has been accused of fabricating a huge concert offer in an attempt to shut down jokes about him performing for tiny crowds.
On Instagram, the “Still Tippin'” rapper posted a screenshot of an alleged text message exchange in which he is asked: “Is 100,000$ enough to get you to perform for my son’s barmizfa?”

Jones responded: “What’s the date of the event and we can make that happen for the $100,000.”
The Houston native used the purported offer to clap back at his critics and attempt to prove that his famous phone number lyric from “Back Then” is still paying off.

“The Power of this 281-330-8004, see some of yall might a thought it was a gimmick but most of my supporters understood and understands why I gave out the # in the first place!!” he wrote in the caption.
“For a lot of reasons 1) was to keep yall from dealing with janky promoter who promote fake shows & 2) I wanted to be accessible n hands on with my fans n supporters and here in 2025, they hitting the 281-330-8004 # for a bar mitzvah so yea we doing that!
“So if yall only see 5 or 50 people there lol that’s what that’s for lmao #PaidVacations even when nobody there lol,” he added, refereNcing a viral video from last year of him performing in front of a small crowd at a daytime event.
Fans immediately smelt something fishy, though, noticing that the number the message was sent from was actually Mike Jones’ own number.
“How that’s the number you got but they texting you?” one commented on his post.

Bar Mitzvah is also spelt wrong in the message which is highly unusual, especially for a Jewish person.
“Anyone having a Bar-Mitzvah for their son and spending 100k would spell it properly…. I imagine theres a contract thatd be spell checked as well,” read another comment, while someone else put: “lol mane spelled barmizfa in the text the same way in the caption.”
Others were also skeptical of the enormous performance fee: “This is bizarre. Who negotiates like that. ‘Is $100k enough to perform or would you like to rip me off further’ lmao.
“For context $100k gets you someone like suicideboys, beach house, lil yachty, Ludacris, Meek Mill, etc. seems mildly unbelievable that someone would pay the same price for a private performance.”

Jones also posted more messages of concert offers, including one from Hawaii which allegedly offered him $25,000 plus $10,000 for hotel and travel.
The former Swishahouse signee used this post to take another shot at critics, writing: “lol while yall trying to be funny & make fun of when the shows be light. just know rather it’s 1 person or 8,000 people, that price don’t CHANGE!!

He added: “I would love to see what yall make per show per event per anything!! so I can get the laugh last!! Just kno every time u post the private light shows, just kno I still got paid. we in 2025 and u see the offers!!”
