Metro Boomin has once again called on his buddy, Swae Lee, for the forthcoming Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse soundtrack he’s helming and recently released a snippet of the soon-to-be-released track.

Released on the producer’s official YouTube on Wednesday (May 31), the visualizer gives Spider-Man fans a sneak peek at what to expect in the upcoming movie. In the clip, we see Miles Morales’ budding relationship with Gwen Stacey, complete with vibrant colors and lyrics from the track.

“Just to save you, I’d give all of me/I can hear you screaming out calling me/It’s my fault, made you fall for me,” Swae Lee sings.

Metro Boomin was originally tapped to serve as the project’s executive producer back in December.

Fans can expect the Spider-Verse soundtrack to arrive in full on June 2, which is the same release date for the anticipated animated Spider-Man film hitting theaters.

The film is a sequel to 2018’s award-winning Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse and continues the story of Miles Morales, the half-Black, half-Latino teenager who’s taken up the mantle of the famous web-slinger.

Prior to this, Metro also teased another track expected to appear on the movie soundtrack. Earlier this month, the producer shared a snippet of a track called, “Link Up,” for which he teamed up with Don Toliver.

The short audio clip was featured as part of a Hyundai and Spider-Verse animated commercial. Following its release, Metro shared the news with his fans via Twitter.

“New @SpiderVerse Hyundai commercial dropped today featuring “Link Up” feat @DonToliver. Soundtrack dropping June 2nd featuring all original songs inspired by the film. #Metroverse,” Metro wrote in the post’s caption.

Aside from Swae Lee, FutureLil Uzi VertJ.I.D and a few others are also expected to make an appearance on the project. For the Spider-Verse rollout, he shared illustrated comic book caricatures of his guests on Instagram.

All eyes will be on the Boominati boss to see if the project can match the hype of its predecessor. The first Spider-Verse soundtrack spawned the blockbuster single “Sunflower” by Post Malone and Swae Lee, which was certified diamond in 2021 and became the joint highest-certified single in RIAA history last November.
