Metro Boomin is no stranger to working with either Kanye West or Ty Dolla $ign. The Boominati beatmaker famously contributed to Yeezy’s The Life of Pablo anthem “Father Stretch My Hands Pt. 1,” as well as “Waves,” “FML” and “Facts” from that same album.
As for Ty Dolla’s catalog, Metro has produced tracks like “Know Ya,” “Long Time” and “Dead Presidents.”

While the album has largely been shrouded in secrecy and speculation, Ty Dolla $ign shared a few concrete details on Monday (October 23) by announcing that he and Kanye West will premiere the project on November 3 via a “multi-stadium listening event.”
It was previously reported that the pair were looking to unveil their new material at a massive concert in Italy in late October, which was expected to draw upwards of 100,000 fans. However, the concert was reportedly axed after hitting a roadblock.

Earlier this month, it was also reported that Kanye and Ty Dolla are looking for a company to distribute their joint project.
Billboard speculated that it will most likely be a smaller distributor as “some label leaders have passed on the opportunity” due to Ye’s antisemitic comments from last year.
Despite that, Rick Ross has signaled his interest in signing Yeezy to Maybach Music Group and releasing his album with Ty Dolla $ign through his imprint.
“I just had an amazing idea, a boss idea,” Rozay said in a video posted to social media earlier in October. “This is something that’s extremely realistic to me. We’ve created amazing masterpieces in the past.”
