Though professionally, all seems to be good in Metro’s world, he was recently in the news for all the wrong reasons when he was accused of cheating on his longtime girlfriend Chelsea Cotton with another woman named Shomari Amere.
A number of images purporting to be of the super-producer being intimate with Amere were posted to Instagram earlier this month by a friend of the woman, who called Metro out for cheating on Cotton.

Alongside one photo, the friend seemingly even suggested that Amere was pregnant, writing: “Main squeeze? But @shomariamere bout to be the baby mama [crying face emoji].”
After posting the salacious pictures, she wrote: “The least n-ggas could do is wrap it up if they respect their ‘woman.’ How u got a main squeeze but your tongue was just between my besties legs. Now that we know. We don’t do dirty d*ck. He’s all yours girl.”

Metro Boomin, who has not responded to the allegations, has been in a relationship with Chelsea Cotton since 2011.
Cotton was referenced on Drake‘s diss track “Family Matters” in which he accused her of cheating on the prolific hitmaker with one of his friends.
“Just like how Metro n-gga slimed him for his main squeeze,” he rapped.
Metro refuted Drizzy’s claim, writing on X (formerly Twitter): “the drum thing was laughable so I let it slide but what we not gon do is spread lies and have my loved ones involved. nobody ever hit my girl n-gga we grew up together [crying face emojis].”
