Method Man has no shortage of female fans, and the Wu-Tang Clan rapper’s latest viral video has left a few ladies a little hot under the collar.
In an Instagram post shared on Wednesday (July 26), the rapper-turned-actor showed off how he was able to deadlift more than 500 lbs. with just a slight bit of effort — and without any sneakers on his feet.

Perhaps as can be expected, the comments on Method Man’s post were overwhelmingly positive, with one fan declaring: “I swear this man is going to be 80 years old and be the finest man on the planet!!!!”
“Can we talk, link up, have a drink, brunch, dinner, sumn,” wrote another commenter, while a third went to the extreme of beseeching for help from a higher power to avoid temptation. “I am not about to come on here and disrespect this married man by saying what’s on my mind….take my phone away Lord [facepalm emoji] get beneath me Method Ma— I mean Satan! I rebuke u!”
Mef’s IG commenters aren’t the only ones disappointed by his marital status.
In an interview with The Jennifer Hudson Show which originally aired in March, but whose behind-the-scenes footage dropped back in June, Modern Family actor Julie Bowen confessed to the Hudson that the “Bring the Pain” rapper — who was also a guest on the show — is even better looking in person.
“He’s backstage!” she said, breathlessly. “I came up — we all know Wu-Tang Clan. And, he was always fine. Oh my God, he’s gotta be 50. He is fine. He can be my daddy any day!”

Bowen then asked Hudson if Mef was a married man — to which Hudson explained that he was. “Oh,” Bowen replied. “Let me drink my sad water then.”
In the backstage footage, Bowen can be seen squealing as she hugs Method Man, who seemed to take her good-natured flirting in stride. “I’m sorry! I’m objectifying you, but you’re so freakin’ fine!” she said.
