Megan Thee Stallion has been awarded a five-year restraining order against Tory Lanez after successfully arguing that he has continued to harass her, even from behind bars.

The order prohibits Tory, who is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for shooting Megan in the feet in July 2020, from harassing, intimidating or threatening the Houston rapper in any way until at least January 9, 2030.

He must also stay at least 100 yards away from her.

The order was issued on Thursday (January 9) following a court hearing in Los Angeles, where Megan spoke via Zoom about the emotional toll that Tory’s alleged conduct since the shooting has taken on her.

“I haven’t been at peace since I been shot, and I’m just trying to be un-harassed — not only by the person who shot me, but by the people he’s been paying to continue to harass me,” she testified under oath, according to Rolling Stone.

“I probably won’t ever have my own peace about the situation, but I just really want the harassment from the person who shot me to stop.”

In her request for a restraining order last month, Megan claimed that Tory Lanez paid third-party bloggers to spread lies about her and cast doubt on her credibility in the shooting case.

She cited payments totaling $3,000 from Tory’s father to blogger Milagro Gramz (real name Milagro Elizabeth Cooper), who Megan is suing for cyberstalking, emotional distress and promoting an “altered sexual depiction” for sharing deepfake pornographic content of her.

During her testimony, the Houston Hottie broke down in tears as she admitted to struggling with anxiety due to the continued harassment from Lanez and his supporters.

“I barely leave my house. I leave my house for work. But I’m not good in social situations anymore because I think everybody hates me at this point because of everything that he’s done and said about me after the shooting,” she said. “I’m just always nervous. I never had anxiety before this. I’m just a nervous wreck all the time.”

The 29-year-old even said that she fears for her life at the hands of Tory, with whom she had a sexual relationship at the time of the shooting.

“I’m scared that even when he gets out of jail, he’s going to still be upset with me, and I don’t know if he’s going to continue being violent toward me,” she added. “Because even from behind bars, he keeps showing me that he can get to me.

“I feel like when he gets out of jail, it’s going to be worse. … I feel like maybe he’ll shoot me again, and maybe this time, I won’t make it.”

Judge Richard Bloom cited “several uncontroverted facts” as he granted the restraining order, including “conduct that culminated in [Lanez] shooting approximately five rounds at [Megan] that resulted in injuries to her.”

Tory’s lawyer, Michael Hayden, hit back at the ruling, describing it as an unfair restraint on the rapper’s free speech. He also argued that it was unwarranted given Tory, who was convicted of the shooting in late 2022, is currently in prison.
