Megan Thee Stallion‘s former close friend Kelsey Nicole Harris has shed some light on the night Tory Lanez shot the “Cobra” rapper.
Harris, who was present during the incident and testified during Lanez’s subsequent trial, was the guest on an episode of The Danza Project podcast that aired on Sunday (March 3).
During the interview, she revealed that the night of the shooting was when she found out about what host Danza called “the betrayal” — presumably, that Megan had also slept with the Canadian rapper.

“[I]t did end up coming out that night that she had been betraying me,” she said. “Of course it’s like, damn, why it have to come out like this? You should be able to come to me and say this. That way we can laugh in n-ggas’ faces, not n-ggas laughing at us.”

During the trial, Harris admitted to having an “intimate relationship” with Lanez, as did Megan. During the above chat, however, she denied that said admission ruined her friendship with the Houston Hottie.
“The whole situation of her doing whatever behind my back, that is not why we fell out,” she said.
In fact, Harris claimed not to know why the friendship, which began during a summer course at Prairie View A&M University, came to a halt.
“It’s so unclear to me why we fell out,” she began. “I’m the type of person that likes to communicate things. Some people don’t like to communicate.

“But you would think when you’re close with this person, and this person is supposed to be your best friend, your family, your sister, that you would be able to talk about these things and agree to disagree.”
He concluded: “People grow, and everybody has a season. So if that was just the end of our season, I felt like we should have been able to have that conversation, and it would have been fine.”

Lanez was found guilty of shooting Megan last December, for which he was sentenced to 10 years behind bars.
Harris was in the news earlier this year for appearing to cheer on Nicki Minaj’s “Big Foot,” a song that is aimed at Megan.
In late January, one of Kelsey’s friends was seen remixing the beat to “Big Foot” in a video that began circulating online, which Minaj re-posted with the caption: “Oh I am moving to THIS hunty!!!!!! Lemme get this up as an alternate version ASAP chiiii. Might call it: Kelsey’s Revenge.”
