Megan Thee Stallion is reportedly in talks to land her next movie role in the new Safdie brothers movie alongside Adam Sandler.
According to Deadline, directors Josh and Benny Safdie have started to finalize the cast of their upcoming Netflix movie centered around sports memorabilia, and Megan is one of their targeted additions.

The as-yet-untitled picture is set to begin filming this summer and will serve as the follow-up to the brothers’ acclaimed 2019 film Uncut Gems, which starred Sandler, Julia Fox, The Weeknd, LaKeith Stanfield and Kevin Garnett, among others.
Back in late 2021, Megan signed an exclusive first-look deal with Netflix to create and executive produce new series and other projects.

“I’ve always had a passion for telling creative and entertaining stories, so I’m thrilled about this partnership with Netflix,” she said in a statement at the time. “Venturing into production is the next step in my journey as an entrepreneur and I can’t wait to bring all my ideas to life and for my Hotties to watch.”
As an actor, he budding résumé includes credits in NBC’s crime comedy-drama Good Girl, STARZ’s P-Valley and the Disney+ Marvel Cinematic Universe series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.

Last year it was reported that the Houston Hottie will star in the upcoming musical comedy from award-winning production company A24, Fucking Identical Twins, which is described as a “subversive” remake of the classic 1998 movie The Parent Trap.
Megan’s twerk-friendly cameo in She-Hulk came about thanks to Jameela Jamil, who plays the role of Titania, after the British actress suggested bringing the rapper into the MCU fold.
“I just had a feeling she’d be a great actor because she’s good at everything, and she absolutely smashed it,” Jamil told The Hollywood Reporter.
Next up, Megan Thee Stallion will return home to Houston where she’ll perform for the first time in the city since 2019 as part of the AT&T Block Party on Friday night (March 31).

It also marks the 28-year-old’s first headlining performance since her high-profile trial against Tory Lanez, who was convicted in December of shooting her during a drunken dispute in July 2020.
“There’s no place I’d rather be for my first performance of the year than my hometown of Houston,” Meg said of the performance. “The AT&T Block Party Concert is gonna be such a vibe, and I can’t wait to get back on stage in the city where it all began. I’m looking forward to seeing my Hotties and putting on an unforgettable show for them.”
