Megan Thee Stallion‘s forthcoming documentary In Her Words has received a release date and a streaming home.

The new film on the Houston Hottie is set to premiere on October 31 via Amazon Prime Video, it was announced on Monday (September 30).

A synopsis for the film reads: “This upcoming documentary spends two years in the life of rapper and singer Megan Thee Stallion. It takes viewers behind the scenes as the global superstar recovers from a 2020 shooting incident and grapples with the perils of fame (among other things).

“You’ve heard the hot takes and read the stories — now go straight to the source.”

The documentary was first announced by Roc Nation and TIME Studios in 2022.

Nneka Onuorah of Lizzo’s Watch Out for the Big Grrrls fame is set to direct.

As initially reported by Variety, the multi-part series will focus on the personal and professional rise of the “WAP” rapper, including “how Megan overcame various personal hurdles to thrive in her professional career.”

In other news, Megan Thee Stallion appears to be gearing up to release an “Act Two” of her latest album Megan.

The Texas native shared a butterfly-themed trailer for the project last month along with the caption: “Stay tuned hotties,” followed by three butterfly emojis.

She later posted a preview of a trunk-rattling new song which pays tributes to her Houston roots while flexing a flossy new grill from celebrity jeweler Johnny Dang.

Megan originally arrived in June and debuted at number three on the Bllboard 200 with 64,000 equivalent units in its first week.
