Meek Mill has finally added context for the infamous viral clip of him doing bunny hops on a tennis court for Mike Rubin in 2021.
A fan brought the video up in a tweet to the Philly rapper on Tuesday (May 14), asking if there’d ever be an explanation for it – and Meek had one.

“This a game I started from prison we used to make killers do bunny hops when they loss because it was too hostile for money,” he wrote, with a link to rappers DThang and Tdot’s 2020 “Bunny Hop” video.
He continued: “this be us!!! ima get Rubin to bunny hop for me okay lol ima teach him d thang hop!”

In other news, Meek Mill has been busy lately going back and forth with 50 Cent on social media.
50 has been taunting Meek for months, ever since fans began speculating that Meek was the unnamed “Philadelphia rapper who dated Nicki Minaj” mentioned as an alleged sex partner of Diddy’s in a lawsuit by Lil Rod.
50 continued his campaign over the weekend, after Meek defended the Bad Boy boss and his son King Combs.

50 also posted a video of Meek and Diddy partying along with the caption: “I commend you for being a strong supportive woman for your man meek, stay by his side and together you guys may have a good life. GOD BLESS!”
The taunts caused Meek to go on a since-deleted rant on X (formerly Twitter) where he said: “My last project sold 90k first week expensive pain… Ross did that last cd for fun to let me out my contract cause we rich and have some type of history! It’s different lol I don’t even know how Cuban was talking to you ya swag is extremely wack.”
