Meek Mill is back on his freestyle game, this time going in over two tracks spawned from Kendrick Lamar and Drake‘s infamous feud earlier this year.

Previewing the songs through his Instagram Story on Monday (August 26), Meek played his version of K.dot’s “Euphoria” while walking through what appears to be a Target, then threw on his freestyle over Drizzy’s “Family Matters” while in the car with his sons.

“I did Kendrick and Drake beats for practice…” he added.

Interestingly enough, it’s Meek Mill who Akademiks actually blames for being the catalyst for Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s history-making back and forth.

During his appearance on a May episode of the Full Send podcast, the polarizing media personality explained why he’s blaming Meek – despite the Philly rapper not having anything to do with the beef between K. Dot and Drizzy.

“What we’re seeing even with Drake and Kendrick – it’s Meek Mill’s fault,” he began.

He went on to explain that Meek should have and could have taken Drake out during their own feud in 2015, as Meek had the upper hand as the seasoned battle rapper against the Canadian child star.

“So now it’s given Drake the level of confidence to say, ‘Yo I’ve defeated the battlers of the battlers. These guys really don’t wanna see me.’ … And now we realize Meek Mill – as 50 Cent said – is a special type of stupid. Like literally, anybody could have defeated him. I defeated him on Twitter [and] he just blocked me.

“The guy is so dumb. He’s one of the few people that you’re like, maybe we gave Drake too much credit for beating this guy. … Meek has a remedial, slower person’s brain. If you put an actual able-bodied brain in there, he might have beaten Drake.”

Ak then pointed out Meek’s biggest fumble was tweeting out that Drake uses ghostwriters at the time of their beef, instead of putting that information in a diss song like Pusha T did with revealing Drake’s son.

“Could have been a different type of battle, but who knows. He’s a different type of stupid.”
